Forward-deployed engineering for companies that want AI doing real work.

An engineer placed inside your team, on contract, to set the AI strategy and build the systems that carry it.

What we do

Four offers. The first is the one most clients start with; the other three are usually what gets built inside it.

Forward-deployed engineering

A contract placement inside your organisation. One engineer works with your people and your systems to set the AI strategy, build the first systems, and move the company up the AI adoption ladder one measured step at a time.

The method is the same on every placement: find the constraint, architect the intervention, verify the result against a measured baseline.

More on forward-deployed engineering

  1. Audit and measure

Map the operation, establish the baseline and quantify the gap. Decide where AI takes work off people and where it should not.

  2. Scope and architect

Define the intervention, the system boundaries, the controls and the delivery path. Written down before anything is built.

  3. Build and verify

Implement the system and test the result against the baseline and the business case, not against a demo.

  4. Hand over

Your team runs it. Documentation, monitoring and the next rung of the ladder agreed before the placement ends.

Service as a Software

Turn a repeatable service into a standard operating procedure, then into software an AI agent can follow.

  • The service written as steps, inputs, checks and decision points
  • An agent executing the steps, with human review where judgement is needed
  • Every run logged, so the output can be audited and the procedure improved
  • Delivery that stops scaling with headcount

Agent data access via API

Connectors over your legacy data, so what the company already knows becomes readable to an AI agent.

  • APIs over legacy databases, spreadsheets, file shares and line-of-business systems
  • Access controls so an agent sees only what its role allows
  • Structured, documented data an agent can query without guesswork
  • An audit trail of what was read, when, and by which agent

Software and app creation

Desktop, web and mobile. Built to run in production, not to demo.

  • Customer-facing web and mobile apps, including apps published to the app stores
  • Internal operations consoles and decision tools
  • Desktop tooling for teams that work on site or offline
  • Delivered with tests, deployment, monitoring and documentation

    Live, B2C
  • Pharmacy Connect

    Medicines-safety actions with inspection-ready evidence.

    Live, App Stores
  • Stokex

Trading OS: market signals, operator decision, governed execution.

    Live, internal
  • LaserWatch

AI pickup checks and branch call intelligence across 60 locations.

Where to start

Three rungs. Each one is priced and scoped on its own, and each one is a sensible place to stop.

  1. Auditfrom £950

    Baseline the operation

A short engagement to map one operation, measure it, and write down where AI would take work off people. You get the baseline and a scoped proposal.

  2. Scoped value propositionaround £1,500

    Design the intervention

The architecture, system boundaries, controls and delivery plan for the first system, with the business case it will be tested against.

  3. FDE full system integrationfrom £5,000 per placement

    Build it inside your organisation

A forward-deployed engineer placed with your team to build, integrate and verify the system, then hand it over with the next rung agreed.

Who you will be working with

NeuroNet.dev is run by Andrius Kvaraciejus, a forward-deployed engineer and systems architect based in Milton Keynes. The company started with AI automation work for UK businesses and now places engineers inside organisations to do that work from the inside.

You deal with Andrius directly: on the audit, on the architecture and on the build. No account managers, no hand-off to a bench.

Evidence before adjectives. Every case on the portfolio says what was built, how it was checked and whether it is live today. References are available on request.

Questions we get asked

What does a forward-deployed engineer actually do?

Works inside your organisation on contract, with your people and your systems. The job is to set the AI strategy, build the first systems, measure them against a baseline, and leave your team able to run them.

Do we need our data in order before we start?

No. Most companies' value sits in legacy databases, spreadsheets and documents. Building the connectors that make that data readable to an agent is usually the first piece of work.

What do you mean by Service as a Software?

A repeatable service written down as a procedure an AI agent can follow, then built into software. Human review stays where judgement is needed. The rest runs, and everything is logged.

How does an engagement start?

With an audit, from £950. You get a written baseline of the operation and a scoped proposal. If it does not make sense to continue, you keep the audit and we stop there.

Do you work outside Milton Keynes?

Yes. Placements are on site or remote depending on the work. Recent work spans the UK and the Baltics.

Can you build the software as well as set the strategy?

Yes. Web, mobile and desktop applications, plus the data connectors and agents behind them. The portfolio lists ten systems built this way, each with its current status.
